Today’s Devotionalβ¦

Since the beginning of Christianity, when the aforementioned group of impostors left the fold of genuine believers, they have not yet returned. This should really bother youβ¦
Yes, they started together with the believers, fellowshipped with them, talked like them, and acted like them; but they were never part of them – they were simply wolves in sheep’s clothing. Ponderβ¦
If these tricksters masquerading as brethren could camouflage their way amongst the good believers in those days successfully, then they can always do it again (especially today when discernment in the church is at an all-time low!) Sadβ¦
We are in the generation of “the children tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness”, as the apostle Paul mentioned in (Eph 4:14)
There are some Christians who follow any gathering in the name of “church” without seeking any discernment from the Holy Spirit to know whether these men are being manipulated by the descendants of the same men mentioned in our opening verse.
Today, you need discernment more than most of the prayer points you have been laboring on. When you have discernment, you will have a sound mind and move in the right direction. At this point, most of your prayer points just fall away. Ponderβ¦
Don’t let smooth-tongued charlatans deceive you simply because they can prove to you that they were once part of a ministry before they left. They were never part of the body, they were “tares among the wheat”, for had they been genuinely part of the fold, they would never have been separated in the first place. Ponderβ¦
As you continue to seek truth in this era of confusion, may the Holy Spirit grant you all discernment in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
