JUST BELIEVE…

𝗝𝗼𝗵 𝟱:𝟮𝟰 𝗞𝗝𝗩 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗛𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲, 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻; 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

Today’s Devotional…

You must understand what it actually means to “believe” in Him who sent our Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, if all you have to do is to “believe”, it simply means that what you are to believe has already been accomplished, and certainly not by you. Ponder…

So the question we must ask is who created the reality we are supposed to believe in, and what is this reality that automatically grants eternal life, evades condemnation, and passes one from death to life? Ponder…

The truth is that, before man ever thought of observing the law or asking for forgiveness, God Almighty had already predestined to restore man to Himself so that he could escape condemnation and return to the life that God had always had in mind for man.

When you believe, you do not create the reality of God’s reconciliation with man, but you only get awakened to an already-existing reality of God’s unconditional love.

That which man could not achieve in his effort to observe Moses’ 613 laws because human nature was weak, God Himself decided to give him free of charge, not requiring his effort anymore.

Telling man to believe was simply announcing to man that the righteousness which he could not get since the fall of Adam, had now been made available in the finished works of Christ.

Belief in itself is not work, for it doesn’t affect the already-accomplished reality. However, it is expedient for you to believe, to be able to access and utilize the rich divine package of communion with God.

Just believe and enjoy the blessings long reserved for you in the finished works of Christ, in His holy name. Amen
