VICTORY OVER DEATH

𝟭𝗖𝗼 𝟭𝟱:𝟱𝟲 𝗞𝗝𝗩 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗻; 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄.

This is the formula for victory over death: Fulfilling the law = silencing sin = overpowering death.!  Ponder…

You cannot fight death without first of all, dealing with sin because death gets its power from sin, and you cannot fight sin without dealing with the law first, because sin gets its power from the law. That’s simply our opening verse rephrased.

Now you understand why Jesus said He came to fulfill the law; for by so doing, He would win the victory over both sin and death. This was a mystery to many at the time.

Rom 10:4  says Christ is the end of the law, indicating that He is the end of sin and death. Ponder…

Rom 3:20 says: “… for by the law is the knowledge of sin…” And the wages of sin is death according to the scriptures.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Co 15:57). Amen
