Today’s Devotional…
Just like the seed of every fruit has the fruit in it, God’s seed has God in it; and God is incorruptible.
Adam was created corruptible, got corrupted with sin, and passed on the corruption to all humans before the cross.
Similarly, Jesus stepped into time incorruptible and righteous. And just like Adam He passed on His incorruptibility to all humans after the cross.
Just as there was none righteous (not even one) in Adam, neither could they work to obtain righteousness, none also is sinful in Christ, neither can they sin.ย Ponder…
Sin and righteousness are the functions of Adam and Christ, independent of the opinion or works of men. Ponder again…
So, they that are born of God, that is, born after the cross cannot sin, simply because the seed ofย God in them which is Christ Jesus, cannot sin.
Understanding this can only cause you to lead a life worthy of the name of Jesus Christ whom you represent, instead of the life of Adam who is obsolete.
May the seed of God in you mature into a visible expression of Divinity, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
