NO TURNING BACK…

Today’s Devotional…

Do not focus so much on the old (or failed) relationships you want to restore that you ignore the new hearts God has won for you.

Some people spend so much time trying to recover “spilled milk” that they don’t realize how much some people are suffering just to get their attention.

Don’t hurt people who love you and look up to you, simply because you are hurting for someone who left you. Those who love you now may be more valuable and more resourceful than those who left. Just focus.

Your new relations may just be God’s reward to you, to repair your broken heart and compensate you for your loss.

Sometimes, you just have to make up your mind and accept that what is lost is lost and gone, and it was for your own good.

Now, stop weeping for the people that left you and start laughing with the people that God has brought your way now. You are not wiser than God, He knows better, so rejoice!

Stop looking for them, spend time with those who are looking for you before you lose them too. God is wise, and all things work for your good!

Until you turn your focus from those who left to those God has given you, you will never know what great blessing those in your life now are. You cannot afford to look in both directions.

Move forward with whom God has connected you. If those who left were of God, they will FOLLOW in due time. Don’t wait for them, go. If they never follow, then thank God; for they were surely not an asset but a liability in your life.

Maybe some people left you because your assignment in their lives was over. Maybe your assignment in others’ lives just began, and you are at it failing woefully. Ponder…

2Pe 2:20 KJV For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
