ACCEPTING CHRIST?

Today’s Devotional…

Jesus Christ didn’t need to be “accepted”, it was the sinful man who did.

Jesus Christ was righteous and glorious, man was sinful and shameful.

Jesus Christ in His sparkling glory of righteousness, would naturally not want to identify with the filthiness of man’s sin, but He did, regardless.

When man was sinful and shameful, Jesus Christ chose to accept man in that state. He was not ashamed of man, despite his filth.

If Jesus accepted man when he was at his filthiest, all you have to do is acknowledge this boundless and unconditional love, and begin to have communion with Him.

May the Holy Spirit reveal God’s boundless and unconditional love towards mankind to you, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
