Imagine a place where people (with demons or problems) gather, and a man standing in front of the crowd casting out the devils in the name of Jesus, and giving them solutions, but God is not there. Ponder…
Yes, this is true for many pseudo-Christian gatherings today masquerading as churches. The crowd gathers because they need solutions to their problems, and a man who wants to profit from their vulnerability appears, offering them false hope.
The people look up to the “prophet” for their miracles, the “profit” looks at their pockets for his money, and the trading is completed, meanwhile, the only person NOT invited to the business transaction is God.
You know them by their testimonies which are usually lengthy and grossly exaggerated to magnify and glorify the “man of God”, and the imposter preacher always boasts about their powers and wealth. Open your eyes…
As our opening verse reveals, it is quite sad but true; it is possible to use the name of Jesus but refuse to follow Him.
Yes, there are many large auditoriums with large crowds in them and a pseudo-pastor transacting church business, but without God. Watch out!
May the Holy Spirit open your eyes, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
