Today’s Devotional…
Listen, our struggle in the gospel is not to make men perfect (for no man can,) but to reveal to them that in Christ, they were born perfect.
Perfection is not a status men earn after hard work but the gift God gave all mankind after His death on the cross of Calvary.
Listen, no matter how you twist the message of the gospel, it cannot change the perfection of man, because it was an unconditional gift.
Whether we preach and “warn every man in all wisdom or not”, man is already perfect in Christ. That is Christ’s heritage which cannot be changed.
No wrong method of teaching, (whether in wisdom or foolishness,) can undo the death of Christ, but may mask the perfection of men, or reveal it more easily. Choose wisdom.
So, I pray that God will give you the wisdom you need to see yourself perfect in Christ, and to help others see their perfection in Him as well, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
