There are things you will never understand as long as you remain in the flesh. Yes, spiritual things can only be spiritually discerned and not otherwise.
One of them is the preaching of the cross. It takes discernment to understand that the cross marked the end of all sinful mankind, and the beginning of the new generation of men who are all righteous.
This is confirmed in 1Co 1:18: “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”
So, the fact that you do not agree with the gospel does not mean that you are right, it simply indicates that you do not understand, and that is because you lack spiritual discernment. But we preach Christ regardless.
Paul, in Corinthians 1:23 says: “But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness”
When you successfully discern the finished works of Christ, the first thing you receive is an inner peace that takes you through all moments of life without any anxiety.
May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus, in His holy name. Amen
