Today’s Devotional…
“What time is it now?” This is a critical question you must always ask yourself as a human being if you must live on this earth.
And no, I’m not referring to the time displayed on your phone screen or watch. I’m talking about God’s time.
You see, God has set unchangeable times and seasons for the things in this world that you will never be able to change, but can only conform to.
Now, until you understand this simple fact, you may never know peace on this earth.
Genesis 8:22 tells us that “while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest shall not cease” This is a fact that you must always keep to avoid frustration in life.
Understanding times and seasons is so critical because the necessity does not factor-in, even an iota of ignorance.
When you plant in the wrong season, it will be impossible to harvest at the right time. Simple. It is not the devil fighting you, it is ignorance.
Listen, most of your prayer topics right now are simply expressions of your misunderstanding of God’s times and seasons (initially designed to favor you). That is why it even seems like God cannot hear you.
There is time for everything. Stop imposing your seasons on God and start listening to understand His times and seasons.
Everything you do ‘IN TIME”, you do it effortlessly because God Himself helps you. And everything you try to do out of its season, you struggle in vain because God Himself is resisting your ignorance!
Listen, you don’t work with God according to your times and seasons; you work with God according to His times and seasons.
May the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
