Did you know that it is easier to love than to hate? Oh yes, love is not what you do, it is not a commandment, love is who you are.
You were created in Christ and fashioned according to love. Loving is your natural response to living. Life is unrealistic without love. It is in Christ that we live and move and have our being.
Martin Luther King Jr, after he had struggled with hate all his life, in his own words, concluded: “I have decided to stick to love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”
It is funny how it is at old age that many individuals realize that they were wired to love naturally. Don’t you realize that there is no iota of hate in any child at birth? Yes, that is how God created you; to love only.
Listen, it is too difficult, too risky, and too dangerous to hate. It is like struggling to swim across a river filled with hungry crocodiles and sharks, just to get to the other side where a pride of hungry lions is waiting for you. Isn’t it wisdom to just stay where you are? Wisdom is profit…
Don’t let the world deceive you. You will hurt yourself if you try to develop hatred in your heart, no matter the circumstances. Love, it is easier.
May you become awakened to your love nature from today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
