When we see a dark sky, we run to hide, not from the clouds but from the rain.
Somehow, we have managed to know that clouds are just a sign pointing to rain, but we have never bothered to check what the signs Jesus showed were pointing to. Ponderβ¦
Remember, you may ignore the clouds, but you cannot ignore the rain. You may enjoy the covering of the clouds, but you cannot enjoy the rain. Clouds cannot give you that which only the rains can bring. Ponderβ¦
Many Christians have settled for the signs that Jesus performed, but have ignored what the signs were pointing to. It is a pity.
All the signs Jesus performed were pointing to the fact that He was the Christ. And you must understand what being the Christ meant.
All the miracles that Jesus performed including His miraculous resurrection, were simply signs pointing to the fact that He was the Christ. See belowβ¦
Joh 20:30-31 KJV 30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
May the Holy Spirit grant you grace to focus on the Christ and not the signs that point to the Christ, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
