Today’s Devotionalโฆ
Whenever there is a messenger, there must be a message, a sender, and a destination for the message. Messengers of Christ carry the gospel of Christ from Him to the world.
The only thing that makes the messenger relevant (both to the sender and the receiver) is the message. Without the message, you cannot be recognized as a messenger whether by the sender or the receiver.
God preserves His messenger for the sake of the message he carries, and based on how much He loves the audience the messenger is carrying the message to. Ponderโฆ
And true messenger will guard the message with his very life because if he loses the message, he can lose his life. For why would the sender protect you any longer, and why would the recipients defend you? Ponderโฆ
The prophet Jonah attempted suicide 4 times in the book of Jonah, yet God preserved his life because of the love He had for the people of Nineveh, and since the message for their repentance was still in the mouth of Jonah.
Listen, if you carry the message of Christ to the world, God will preserve you for the sake of the message and His love for the people He sends you to.
The message of Christ brings liberty to the people and joy to Jesus Christ Himself. But without the message of Christ to the people in bondage, even the people will send you away because you cannot help them.
Be a genuine messenger of the undiluted gospel of Christ, and enjoy the privilege of divine preservation in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
