Today’s Devotionalβ¦
Nicodemus knew that Jesus was “a teacher sent from God”, yet he did not identify with Him in broad daylight when people could see him. Imagine thatβ¦
Nicodemus was a reputable teacher of the law in his time; just imagine how many of his followers he could have helped if he accepted Jesus publicly.
I wonder how many of Nicodemus’ friends (perhaps other teachers of the law) kept associating with him but not knowing that he had secretly accepted the truth.
Listen, many people today are like Nicodemus. They deny the truth publicly and make you believe they are with you; but secretly, they follow teachers of the undiluted gospel of Christ and even “sow seeds” in their ministries.
Listen, do not be deceived. Do not let anyone dictate to you what you should believe or not believe. Take time and listen to the gospel yourself over time and decide for yourself according to your discernment.
The people who are joining you to publicly insult some men of God in the day are secretly watching their messages online and sending money into their accounts to “tap into the blessing”. Don’t be their fool, wake up and seek truth for yourself.
Finally, if you believe in the Gospel of Christ, acknowledge it publicly and don’t be a hypocrite. Don’t be a hindrance to those who seek truth.
I pray that you will not listen to deceivers and that you will not be a deceiver in any way to anyone who seeks truth, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
