Before Jabez prayed this prayer, it was recorded of him in the precious verse that he was more honorable than his brethren. Yes, that is one way to enlarge your coast – living an honorable life even in the liberty Christ has given you.
In Christ, God has given us all things even out of His abundance, but everyone can only receive according to how much allowance they make in their hearts for God to fill. Ponderโฆ
Listen, you cannot receive anything from someone with a closed hand; you must open it first. But if you choose to protect the little you have in your hand by keeping your fist tight, you will never receive that which is greater.
Giving is one way of enlarging your coasts in Christ. If you are not a giver, you cannot build enough faith to believe in receiving bigger blessings in the first place. Ponderโฆ
Eph 1:3 says you have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. So, now, it is left for you to enlarge your coasts enough to receive of these overflowing blessings in the natural.
Until you learn to give freely, God cannot entrust you with kingdom wealth that will only get rotten in your house. God blesses people to be springs of fresh water and not stagnant pools of water. Ponderโฆ
If you are ready to share all the good things God has blessed you with (whether spiritual or natural), then you are ready to receive God’s abundant blessings both spiritually and naturally.
May the Holy Spirit help you to be open in giving, so that you may be able to bask in His abundance of blessings, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
