Today’s Devotional…

The cross marks the end of the fallen man and the beginning of the incorruptible man.

The cross, for a long time, has been wrongly used as a symbol of Christianity. But no, the cross is the symbol of humanity, all other religions inclusive.

It is on the cross that all sinful mankind died, and the new breed of righteousness in Christ was born. The first Adam was made from dust in Eden, and the second Adam was made from the battered and crushed flesh of the man Jesus.

The cross is the battle ground where the last Adam (Jesus Christ), who was the life-giving Spirit, saved the lost Adam who was simply a living soul. Ponder…

The cross did not only unite the Jews and the Gentiles, but it also united the old man saved from sin to the new man born righteous.

The cross was God’s unity point for the assembly of all mankind, and eventually their eternal reconciliation to God who is man’s real source.

May the Holy Spirit help you to see the power of the cross, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
