THE CROSS OR NOTHING

Today’s Devotional…

There is nothing that can equate to the cross of Christ. There is nothing anyone anywhere can do that can be equal to what Jesus suffered on the cross.

On that cross of Calvary, Jesus’ sufferings were so intense that God saw it as a worthy payment for the sin of mankind – a complete payment for man’s transgressions.

There is no forgiveness of sin except through the cross of Christ. There is no number of laws that are equal to the sufferings on the cross. No obedience to laws is equal to the obedience of Christ on the cross.

In fact, the cross is more than just a symbol of salvation, it is a mystery.

Listen, if it cannot be equated to the cross, it cannot save man from sin.

I pray that you will begin to see mankind through the finished works of Christ from today, in His holy name. Amen
