Apostle Paul gave ORDERS to the churches in Galatia and Corinth to contribute to the well-being of the saints, each according to how much God had blessed them.

Paul ordered that these collections be done every first day of every week so that on the day he comes, there should be no collections that day. Ponder…

Can you imagine how disciplined these Christians were?

Today, most Christians only pretend to give an offering if they happen to find themselves in church during offering time. Funny

If a Christian today decides to put some of His blessings aside every week to take to his pastor at the end of the month, the world today will say he has been brainwashed.

Well, whether you agree or not, one of the reasons why God blesses you is so that you should keep a portion aside for the well-being of His servants, for the purpose of the gospel.

Don’t waste what God has given you for His servants on other things; it may backfire on you.

Some will ask, if he is a man of God, why can’t he just ask God to bless him instead of expecting the blessing from me? Well, God is wiser than you can imagine. Without you, He can always bless His servants.

But it is only expedient for you to obey God when He commissions you to attend to the needs of His servants.

How much have you contributed so far to the cause of the gospel? That only tells how much you acknowledge that God has blessed you, when indeed, all your blessings come from God. Ponder…

May you be obedient to God’s voice from today by contributing to the well-being of those who labour in the quiet place to bring you the word of God, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
