A long-time prophecy about Christ identified Him as the eternal or everlasting Father. And if a father is eternal it implies that His offspring must also be eternal.
The revelation of Jesus Christ as the eternal Father should give you the confidence that you will never be a bastard at any point in this life, and not even beyond this life.
As an eternal child, son, or daughter, remember that Jesus Christ is your eternal source. This means that it is ok to look up to Him at any time when you feel vulnerable.
Never count your years to conclude that you are too old to be a child of God. Remember that God is billions of years older than you; so even if you are one hundred years old, you are still His baby. In fact, God is your eternal Father.
When does an eternal Father cease to be eternal? The answer is “NEVER”. (If He did, He would no longer be eternal). Similarly, you will never cease to be an eternal offspring of God.
This is why Scripture assures you in the book of Romans, chapter 8, that nothing can separate you from the love of God. This is because nothing can interrupt the eternity of your Father and consequently yours.
The question is, can a responsible Father like God abandon His ignorant children to burn in some hellfire forever? Isn’t it a Father’s (or mother’s) responsibility to protect and care for their children?
May you always feel the love, care, and protection of your eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
