The power and dominion of the law over man long ended when Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary.

For about 2000 years now, the law which once had dominion over all men is no longer in charge.

The law came to reveal sin, and sin revealed death. The law ended because Jesus Christ died. He did not die for
Himself but He drew all sinful mankind into Himself and executed the death penalty on all men.

The resurrection of Christ brought a new life back to men as a priceless gift. Men therefore become free from sin because heaven acknowledged that they had already died in Christ’s death.

So, having been fully released from the power of the law that once held all men in bondage, men were called to serve God from that time onwards, by living in the freshness of their newly gifted life in Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today, men are born free. Yes, you were not freed from the law, except that you lived before the cross. But no, you were born free because you are not 2,000 years old.

May the Spirit of the library in Christ guide your path from today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
