GOD KNOWS HIS OWN…

2 Timothy 2:19
(KJV) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Today’s Devotional…

It is firmly inscribed on God’s foundation that “The LORD God knows His own”. Yes, God knows those who are His, better than the people of the world.

The world system is so judgmental that it claims to know better than God Himself, who is in His book of life and who is not. Laughable.

You need to understand that the criteria for determining God’s own are set by God and not by men.

In 1Kings 19:18, when even the prophet Elijah thought he was the only one loyal to God, God told him that He had left for Himself seven thousand in Israel who had not bowed to Baal.

It was God who knew the seven thousand, and not even the prophet; because He was the only one who knew the criteria of His selection and not men – not even men of God.

Similarly today, it is God who knows His own. He judges all men based on the finished works of Christ, while the world judges men based on the laws of religion. Ponder…

Listen, men’s opinion cannot override God’s decision. It is sure and inscribed on God’s foundation that you are His own, thanks to the finished works of Christ and not the opinions of men.

May the judgments of men never make you feel rejected by God, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
