Today’s Devotional…
Sometimes, we worry too much. Sometimes, we forget that Jesus left His peace for us on earth.
In Philippians 4:6, the apostle Paul reminds us: “Never worry about anything. Instead, in every situation let your petitions be made known to God through prayers and requests, with thanksgiving.”
Jesus again in His own words said in Matthew 6:31-32 “…take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?, (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
These words of assurance are supposed to establish an eschatology in you that completely eliminates fear forever.
Jesus Christ gave to all mankind, eternal rest in righteousness – a treasure worth more than anything the world can ever offer. So, your end is secured in Him. Fear not, all things shall end in glory.
Have peace, for you are eternally covered in God’s abundant love, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
