JUSTIFIED; NOT BY WORKS…

Romans 3:20 says: “…Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight…”

Many Christians are anxious and restless today because they keep struggling to seek justification from God through works. They think that by living according to the law, they would be justified before God. Laughable.

Listen, you are not the first to try this. Many people before the cross tried to justify themselves through the law of Moses and all failed. Only the blood of Jesus Christ later brought justification to all men at last.

This is what the apostle Paul was talking about in Ephesians 2:13: “…But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ…”

This is in no way a green light for living a wayward life. Rather, it is a call to consciousness and recognition of this precious gift of justification by the faith of Jesus Christ to you.

When you understand this gift of righteousness, your body soul, and spirit will easily submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, therefore helping you live a life that is worthy of the name of Jesus Christ.

May the Holy Spirit grant you understanding in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
