LOVE IS THE GREATEST

𝟙ℂ𝕠 𝟙𝟞:𝟙𝟜 𝔹𝔹𝔼 𝕃𝕖𝕥 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕕𝕠 𝕓𝕖 𝕕𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕚𝕟 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖.

Today’s Devotional…

When love is your only motivation for everything you do, you can never get it wrong. When you work in perfect love, no laws apply to you because you are operating beyond the realm of laws.

Love is that gift of the Spirit against which there are no laws.

According to apostle Paul, the commandments, “Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not covet,” and every other commandment can be summed up in these words: “Love and value others the same way you love and value yourself.” (Romans 13:9)

And in Rom 13:8 Paul adds: “…Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law…” Ponder…

Love makes it impossible to harm another, so love fulfills all that the law requires. This is yet according to the apostle Paul in Romans 13:10.

1Jn 4:7-8 says this: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

As you can see, God Himself is love, and living by love is simply living as God on earth.

Paul in Gal 5:14 says: For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Confirming this in John 4:21, the apostle says: “…And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loves God love his brother also…”

Indeed, love is the greatest!

May the love of God which is shed abroad in your heart be made manifest to the whole world from today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
