PRAYING TO ANGEL?

𝐇𝐞𝐛 𝟏:𝟒 𝐊𝐉𝐕 𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬, 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲.

Jesus is not an angel, He is far better than angels and has been given a far more excellent name than the names of all angels.

Why should you call on the names of angels who are far too inferior, when the name of Jesus Christ has been freely given to you? Ponder…

Many Christians today still call on names like angel Michael, angel Gabriel, angel Raphael, etc., to intercede for them, whereas they can simply call on the name that is above all names: Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:9 says: “…Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name…”

There is no angel or saint whose name comes anywhere close to the name of Jesus Christ; not even the blessed mother Mary. The one who holds all things and to whom all power has been given is Jesus Christ.

This is confirmed in Acts 4:12 which reveals that there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby men must be saved.

So, stop calling on the names of saints, and angels to save you for they cannot. Jesus Christ is the only one to whom all authority in heaven and on earth has been given, and His arms are wide open to welcome you always.

Hebrews 4:16 tells us to come boldly before the throne of grace in times of need. This is just to confirm to you that God Almighty holds nothing against you, so you don’t have any reason not to call on Him.

Listen, whether angels, saints, or martyrs, they do not answer prayers for indeed, they cannot. It is Jesus who is supreme to all men who has all the answers. Why not call on Him today?

May the Holy Spirit grant you understanding, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
