THE CHEERFUL GIVER.

2𝑪𝒐 9:7 𝑲𝑱𝑽 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒔 𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕, 𝒔𝒐 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆; 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒈𝒓𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒚, 𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚: 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒕𝒉 𝒂 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓.

Today’s Devotional…

In John 3:16, the Bible says: “…For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”

Even though Jesus died a painful death, His experience was God’s joyful gift for the whole world. That is the mystery of the gospel

God does not just love a cheerful giver, but He is also a cheerful giver. He happily gave Himself as a sacrifice for sin to liberate all mankind from sin.

Jesus Christ did not die on the cross grudgingly, but He offered Himself willingly and happily. Hebrews 12:2 reveals that it was for the joy that was set before Jesus Christ that He endured the cross, despising its shame.

So, when God gives you an opportunity to give, give cheerfully, knowing that you are giving to Him and not man. If you so give, it becomes impossible to not be blessed.

Every opportunity that comes to you to give cheerfully, is an opportunity to be blessed irrevocably.

May you become a cheerful giver from today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
