THE RESURRECTED CHRIST

Luke 24:39
(KJV) Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Today’s Devotional…

When Jesus resurrected, He had flesh and bone but no blood. But according to Leviticus 17:11, the life of every flesh is in the blood.

When Jesus Christ presented Himself as the Lamb without blemish, He declared that His blood was perfect for the annihilation of the sin of all mankind.

So, on that cross at Calvary, all of His blood was taken to pay for the sin of all mankind. If some of His blood had not been taken, perhaps some sinners might have been left out of the salvation plan of God. But He paid in full for the sin of all men, with all of His blood.

So, how was it possible for Jesus to live without blood? By the Law of Life in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:2 says “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death”

The resurrected Christ was introducing to all humanity, a new life and superior life that was not dependent on blood. And that is the life you have today.

The resurrected Christ does not live by the blood but by the Spirit. And so do we live by the same Spirit that raised Christ from the death. Life is Christ is guided by the law of life; and we are all in Him.

Do not be limited by blood, but be awakened to the consciousness of your life in Him by the law of the Spirit of Life in Him. Amen
