Romans 16:25
(KJV) Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Today’s Devotional…

Jesus Christ DID NOT come to show men a way to salvation, nor did He come to give men new laws on how to live a better life. Jesus Christ came simply to reveal Himself!

Until you have a complete understanding of this mystery, you will never receive the Good News (or the “gospel”). And if you cannot receive the gospel, it cannot be beneficial to you!

In Luke 24:25-26, Jesus Christ Himself talking to some of His disciples said to them, “O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?”

Here, Jesus was projecting that all prophesies (and even the law,) end with Him. Jesus is the fulfillment of the prophecy of the prophets, and the end of the law of Moses.

Jesus Christ is the gospel to whom all the law and the prophets pointed. Apart from Jesus Christ, there is no other gospel.

Jesus Christ is God freely given to dwell in man. Rejecting this truth is rejecting the best gift that God could ever give, which is His very self.

So instead of searching for miracles from God, ponder more on Christ who is God’s most precious gift to you, and in Him, you will find ALL THINGS!

May the Holy Spirit help you find all sufficiency in Christ, in His holy name. Amen
