Today’s Devotional..m

Difficult as it may be to explain, many Christians today prefer to fellowship only in churches where they will either be “delivered”, “healed”, or “prophesied” to. (even when they have no problem at all)

Christians today don’t like the undiluted gospel of Christ which is actually the only gospel, simply because they don’t want to admit that they are perfect and complete.

In fact, instead of living in divine health, many Christians today prefer to be sick (even to near death), then get “miraculously healed” and come to church to “testify”. Laughable.

Christians leave preachers who tell them that they are not possessed in search of preachers who will tell them that they are possessed, and then “cast out the demons”. Oh! How they love these sweet lies!

Christians today fly across the world from one country to another just in search of a prophet who will tell them their own phone numbers, and the names of their very siblings; or perhaps the name of their village. How sad…

Listen, it is God’s will for you to live in divine health, filled with the Holy Ghost, and see yourself exactly as Christ. Any preacher who tries to give you a faulty identity in order to gain fame is simply telling you a sweet lie. Wake up!

Yes, these are the days mentioned in our opening verse. May you not be a victim of these sweet lies, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
