Where is your heart? Simply answer: it is where your treasure is. Yes, your heart will always pursue what you value as your treasure, whether it is money, fame, or things.
If your treasure is your job, your heart will be there; if it is your career, your heart will be there, and if it is a man or woman, your heart will be there as well.
And naturally, men will do everything to protect their treasures and this directly exposes their weaknesses to the adversary. It also affects their life decisions and possibly their life paths.
But it is a serious risk when you save your treasures in a place that is not safe, and then put your heart there.
It is wisdom to keep your treasures in the safest place before putting your heart there. This is the best way to avoid heartbreak. And the safest place in existence is Christ, where no impurity can enter.
Put your treasures in Christ, and they will be secured forever! But put them in the world and you may experience heartbreak.
