Can you believe that the Israelites, to whom God demonstrated one of the most jaw-dropping miracles by sending them “cooked food” from heaven, ended up rejecting the food?
Yes, the very manna the Israelites celebrated became the very manna they called horrible.
Listen, there is no kind of miracle that can satisfy the hunger of a man who only seeks miracles. This is the reason why miracle seekers are always moving from one church to another, despite the number of miracles they get.
If all you can offer your church members is miracles, just know that they will leave you someday after they get bored – it is just a matter of time. If the Israelites who ate manna from heaven still insulted Moses and called the manna “horrible”, what makes you think your church members will be loyal to you? Can you give them something more than manna? Ponderโฆ
What many Christians nowadays do not realize is that their actual hunger is not for miracles but something deeper than that. Yes, what your spirit is actually searching for is the all-sufficient Christ. Abba Father!
May the Holy Spirit help you to look beyond miracles and see the all-satisfying Christ, in His holy name. Amen
