Today’s Devotional…
Have you ever gotten to that point where you look up and say: “God, where are you?”? Yes, that moment where you challenge God to prove that He really is your Father, and that He truly loves you.
Or maybe you are going through that face right now, and the only answer you are getting is silence. Well, our opening verse brings you the answer.
Yes, even when you are facing tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword; you are still not separated from the love of God. Yes, it is usually when we traverse such moments that we question the love of God.
Sometimes, it is difficult to understand God’s love, simply because we can’t see the battles He fights in the background without our knowledge.
Oftentimes, what you describe as challenges and problems is simply a manifestation of the victories God had already won for you in secret.
Had God not loved you and fought for you in the background, you would not be alive to witness the so-called problems or challenges.
Listen, whatever you are going through, remember that God loves you. This will give you the confidence to face whatever challenges boldly because the battle is the Lord’s who loves you, and God cannot fail.
God loves you, and He will see you through. May your spirit be at peace as you wait upon the Lord, and may your testimony be public, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
