The gift of God is eternal life! Abba Father!
When a rich man gives you a gift, the value will likely be determined by the measure of his wealth.
Now, humanity did not receive a gift just from a rich man, but from Almighty God, to whom all things belong.
If rich men can give you expensive gifts, how much more valuable do you think a gift from God can be? Priceless I’m sure!
The gift of God to all humankind is eternal life through Jesus Christ. It is a gift, so it must be free of any charges and must be unconditional.
This gift of eternal life in Christ is the most precious gift humanity has ever gotten.
The sad news is that, instead of celebrating this priceless gift, many Christians are rather mourning and reflecting on the wages of sin which is death.
What are you doing struggling to unwrap the wages of sin when you have a gift from God and you have not even opened it yet? Ponder…
May your spirit accept this precious gift of God wholeheartedly, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
