𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟱:𝟯𝟵 (𝗞𝗝𝗩)

What do you look for when you search the Scriptures? Is it a miracle or a blessing? In the days of Christ, the Jews searched the same Scriptures in search of eternal life. Ponder…
It was not because the Jews did not have the same kinds of problems we have today. Rather, they understood that if they could find eternal life, they would find everything else they sought included in that package.
However, despite their earnest search of the Scriptures for the higher life (eternal life,) they could not find it because this eternal life was actually a Man – Jesus Christ.
This “eternal life” was such a mystery that even when the Jews came face to face with Him, they could not recognize Him.
Today, this mystery, so deeply hidden that even the most diligent searchers could not find it in the Scriptures, has been fully revealed to us.
Therefore, there is no room for speculation. Eternal life is Jesus Christ, who is the true content and context of the Scriptures. You have the privilege today to see Him as He is.
In His own words, Jesus presented eternal life to His disciples, saying: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3 KJV)
Today, you do not need to search the Scriptures for another mystery, because Jesus Christ (the mystery) has already been revealed. Search the revealed Christ, and in Him you will find everything you seek in life.
May this truth birth in you a deeper curiosity to behold Christ more intently, in His holy name. Amen.
