Today’s Devotional…

Don’t wait for the world to change to believe that you are sinless. No, change your mind and choose to view the world through the finished works of Christ.

The last Messianic prophet, John the Baptist, did say that Jesus was the Lamb of God, assigned to take away the sin of the world. And the good news is, Jesus succeeded in His mission.

You may ask, if Jesus indeed took away the sin of the world, why is there still so much evil in it? Well, before the coming of Christ, there was relatively a lot of good in the world, yet, it was concluded that all men were sinners.

You do not define sin and righteousness from the standpoint of good and evil. Sin came from Adam unto all men before the cross, and righteousness came from Christ unto all men after the cross. Selah!

The reason why evil may thrive in Christ is rather as a result of our refusal to renew our minds and accept that indeed, we are perfect in Christ today, according to the perfect will of God.

The world is not the problem, your mind is. If you cannot change your mind to accept that the death of Jesus Christ took away the sin of the world, then you will continue to see yourself and all other men as sinners, and consequently, you will live according to the standards of an illusive sinful world.

The world has a voice of accusation that speaks into your ears, but Jesus Christ has a voice of justification that speaks into your heart. Believe Christ, for that is the absolute truth, and your only reality.

As you see your perfection in Christ, may this cause you to reflect your perfection to the world that may make it a better place, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
