FORGIVENESS

𝑳𝒖𝒌 23:34 𝑲𝑱𝑽 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔, 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎; 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒅𝒐. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒔.

Today’s Devotional…

If your friends put you in prison, will you forgive them from prison? I’m sure you will rather be looking for vengeance. But from the cross, Jesus forgave even His crucifiers. 

Mathew 5:44 says: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

And Corinthians 4:12 says: And with our hands we do the hardest work: when they give us curses we give blessings, when we undergo punishment we take it quietly;

Forgive when you are most hurt. May the Holy Spirit help you at such moments, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
