Today’s Devotional…
When Adam realized he was naked, he hid himself from God, but when Jesus was naked and completely disfigured, He presented Himself to God. Ponder…
While Adam thought God could not handle mere nakedness, Jesus knew that the God whose Spirit did not reject, but hovered over the earth when it was formless and empty, could give form back to his disfigured body.
Jesus was not worried about coming to God formless and without any beauty left on Himself. He knew “Elohim”, and He knew that He would restore His distorted nature.
Sin had disfigured man and taken away any beauty left on the face of mankind. Jesus took on the formlessness and emptiness of the fallen man, presented to God the Maker (or manufacturer,) and He restored man completely.
It was finished two thousandyearsago. Selah
May the eyes of your understanding be enlightened in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
