Today’s Devotional…

Did you know that you were chosen before the foundation of the world and predestinated to always appear blameless before God?

Yes, you are not a biological accident. You were well planned way before the world was created. In fact, the world was waiting impatiently for you before you came.

But long before you came, when nothing existed yet, God had decided that every time you appear before Him, He would “choose” to see you as Holy as He also is.

All of this was only possible because of Jesus Christ (the Son of God) who shares the same nature with God (the Father), and had made you a partaker of His divine nature. Abba Father!

You were chosen in God before sin existed. You were declared holy before the fall of Adam. You were predestined by the One who holds all things to be holy before Him (not before men)

Now, does God endorse the wrong you do? No. Does this give you a license to live carelessly? Not at all. This only calls your attention to the fact that the perfect God decided to love you in your imperfection unconditionally.

When you have this understanding, you will not need a prophet to tell you that you need to reciprocate with repentance and love toward God for this unconditional love from Him. Selah.

May this good news bring a turnaround in your life, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
