Healed by His stripes? Wait a minute… Healed from what? I mean, what sickness could all mankind have been sick of that they all so desperately needed healing? Ponder…

You have heard it being said that by His stripes you are healed. Does that not bother you when you are not physically sick? In fact, admitting that statement is inviting, first of all, a sickness in your body. Ponder…

In fact, some countries have such good medical care, that their citizens might tend not to see the need for the stripes of Jesus. To them, Jesus was only struggling to do in part, what their governments can do perfectly. Imagine that…

If you only knew what Jesus indeed went through to get the stripes on His body, you would not be so mean as to conclude that it was simply an alternative for meditation. Ponder…

No, the deep cuts and wounds Jesus endured were for something more serious than diseases.

Now, if the wages of sin was death, and all men had sinned, what was the need for Christ to come and heal men from diseases only to leave them to their fate of sin which is death?

No, it was for man’s transgressions that He was wounded. He was bruised for man’s iniquities. By His stripes, man was HEALED FROM SIN.

May the Holy Spirit reveal the mystery of the healing from sin to you, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
