Today’s Devotional…
In John 14:9, Jesus said to Philip: “He that has seen me has seen the Father” No, this was not blasphemy, it was the blatant truth.
Our opening verse reveals that this was not only true, but it gave God pleasure to see His fullness dwell in Christ.
Colossians 2:9 reiterates this: “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily”
So while Jesus was 100% man, He was 100% God at the same time. This is clear when you understand that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is God, and of the same essence as Him. That is why in John 10:30, He plainly stated: “My Father and I are one” Selah.
