Today’s Devotionalโฆ
If God says rejoice, just rejoice. I know that we naturally rejoice only when something good has happened to us or when we receive good news; but if God says rejoice, just rejoice; remember, He is God and knows things ahead, which you have no clue about.
Phi 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”
Why continue to worry hopelessly when God keeps emphasizing that you should rejoice? If God says rejoice, He is surely seeing many good things reserved for you, which you just can’t see at the time.
Rejoicing at God’s command (when nothing suggests so) is like taking an advance payment for what will all be yours (in abundance) in a later future.
If you really knew the heritage that is reserved for you in the finished works of Christ, you will truly rejoice; but even if you don’t know, still rejoice, you will not regret it – you can begin with a simple smile.
Don’t you know that happiness attracts good happenings? Even your beauty is revealed when you smile, and it attracts favors.
Decide today to push aside all your worries and just rejoice. You may be surprised to notice that as you rejoice this day, your rejoicing will never cease! Abba Father! Just try, smileโฆ
May the Holy Spirit make you rejoice today and always, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen
