Today’s Devotional…
In the Old Testament, Christ is the hope of salvation from sin, revealed in shadows and concealed in mysteries. That is the first revelation of Christ.
In the final days of the Old Testament, Christ is revealed as a person – the man Jesus. He appears as the fulfillment of the Prophets and the Law, ready to save man from sin. This is the second revelation of Christ.
In the New Testament, Christ is revealed as the Savior of all mankind from sin. He is revealed as a fulfillment of the Law and Prophets, and a confirmation from eyewitnesses. This is the third and complete revelation of Christ.
Until you get the full revelation of Christ, you will never fully appreciate the finished works of Christ, and consequently, you may never understand or enjoy your salvation package.
May the Holy Spirit grant you help to see the full spectrum of truth, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
