Todayโs Devotionalโฆ
Adamโs first response after sin was to hide. The man who once walked freely with God suddenly became conscious of fear, shame, and a sense of distance. Sin made humanity believe that man had been separated from God.
Ever since Eden, man has tried to return to God through religion, good works, and self-effort to no avail. But the Gospel declares that what man could never achieve, Christ accomplished through His death and resurrection.
Jesus did not simply come to take away sin; He came to restore fellowship. At the cross, the veil was torn and every barrier was removed. In Christ, the distance ended and union began. Abba Father!
Jesus said, โI am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.โ This is the mystery of the Gospel of Christ: man is no longer an outsider trying to get close to God; he was brought into union with Him through Christ.
Today, do not live like Adam – hiding, striving, or feeling far from God. You are accepted, loved, and united with the Father through the Son. Christ in you is the proof that separation has ended.
May your heart rest in this glorious reality that union with Christ is the end of separation, and in Him, you are home, in His holy name. Amen
