God looked at the faith of Jesus Christ when He undertook the agonizing journey to the cross, and based on that alone, He saved the world!

It was for Christ’s sake that God’s anger for the world ceased. God could not ignore the great price that Christ paid. God could not let the faith of Christ be in vain.

It is for Christ’s sake that God overlooks your weaknesses, because it was for your weaknesses that Christ died.

If after everything that Jesus went through, God still chooses to punish man for his faults, then Jesus Christ died in vain. Ponder…

So, for Christ’s sake, God reconciled imperfect mankind to Himself, counting the perfection of Christ as theirs. This is the good news – the Gospel.

For God so loved His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ,  that He decided to do anything for Him. And the one thing that Jesus wanted was for the world to be saved. Jesus so desired this that He paid the ultimate price with His own life. Why would His Father deny Him that when He is able? Ponder…

So, when next you want to pray, say “God, for Christ’s sake remember me”. For indeed, there is nothing God will not do for Christ’s sake.

For Christ’s sake, may the Holy Spirit reveal to you all thy mysteries of the gospel, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
